Cross-Cultural Data Literacy
An International Student Project on Data Visualization
What is the CCDL project about?
Cross-Cultural Data Literacy is an international project about data visualization, data-ethics and data-humanism.
This project is an initiative of Maaike van Cruchten and Frank Kloos, on behalf of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Frank and Maaike teach at the Communication and Multimedia Design department of the Faculty of Digital Media and Creative Industries.
The project is part of a Comenius Programme as a teaching fellow. The Comenius Programme contributes to the innovation and improvement of higher education in the Netherlands. This directly benefits students and gives education professionals the opportunity to develop further in their careers.
